An unofficial summary of facts (addresses, types, units, scaling) from the maker's manual. Not affiliated with the maker; values can differ by firmware or model. Always check the device manual before writing (run commands, settings).
Default communication
| Protocol | Modbus RTU |
|---|---|
| Baud (factory) | 9600 bps — options: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 |
| Data · parity · stop | 8 · None · 1 |
| Slave ID (factory) | 31 (1~32) |
| Max per request | 16 registers |
| Manual address style | Wire address as is (0-based) |
- Addressing: the read example (p.446) sends slave 02, FC03, start 00 20, count 00 04, CRC 45 F0 to read from 0020H (drive status 1); the write example (p.447) sends FC10 start 00 01, 2 registers, writing 0001h (forward run) to 0001H and 1770h (60.00 Hz) to 0002H. Manual address = frame address. (The write example's CRC is printed as 6D 67 but computes to 6D B7; this does not affect addressing.)
- Only function codes 03H (read, up to 16 registers), 08H (loopback) and 10H (write multiple) — no 06H (p.444, p.446).
- Defaults: H5-01 address 1F (31), range 0-20H (0 = no response); H5-02 3 = 9600 bps; H5-03 0 = no parity; 8 data bits and 1 stop bit fixed, RTU only (p.434, p.439). Cycle power after changes.
- Speeds: the spec table (p.434) and H5-02 list (p.439) go up to 57.6/76.8/115.2 kbps, but the H5-02 setting range reads 0-5 (38400 bps), so bauds stop at 38400.
- When writing parameters, H5-11 = 0 requires an Enter command (0900H/0910H); the default 1 applies changes immediately (p.441).
Registers (32)
«Wire» is the 0-based address in the request frame (PortDock's «0-based» notation). Value = raw × scale. Table: HR holding register, IR input register, CO coil, DI discrete input. Function codes in hex.
Swipe the table sideways — the first column (manual address) stays put.

Notes
- To run and set frequency by communication set b1-02 = 2 and b1-01 = 2 (p.442 Table C.1).
Read it with PortDock
- Install the free PortDock Modbus Master and connect with the device's settings.
- On the table toolbar, «Device profile…» → pick this device → «Load». Polling tables, names, types and the Slave ID are filled in (optionally the serial settings too).
- Names carry the unit and scale (e.g. «×0.01 Hz»). Values on screen are raw — multiply by the scale.
- To test your program without the device, PortDock Modbus Slave's «Emulate device…» serves the same map with example values.
