An unofficial summary of facts (addresses, types, units, scaling) from the maker's manual. Not affiliated with the maker; values can differ by firmware or model. Always check the device manual before writing (run commands, settings).
Default communication
| Protocol | Modbus RTU |
|---|---|
| Baud (factory) | 9600 bps — options: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 76800, 115200 |
| Data · parity · stop | 8 · None · 1 |
| Slave ID (factory) | 1 (1~250) |
| Manual address style | 1-based numbers (wire address + 1) |
- Addressing: the manual states 'Start Addr. = start address - 1' for each function code (p.347-348) and its example (p.349) sends comm address 0x1103 as 0x1102, so address = manual address - 1. 0h0000 (model) maps to -1 and is omitted.
- Defaults: COM-01 ID 1 (1-250; 127 for BACnet, 8 for Serve Drv), COM-02 0 Modbus-RTU, COM-03 3 = 9600 bps, COM-04 0 = D8/PN/S1. COM-03 0-8 = 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200/38400/57600/76800/115200; COM-04 offers 8N1/8E1/8O1. p.333-334 (PDF 350-351).
- Function codes 03/04 (handled the same, up to 16 registers), 06, 16; exception codes 01/02/03/06/14 (write protection) (p.347-349).
Registers (46)
«Wire» is the 0-based address in the request frame (PortDock's «0-based» notation). Value = raw × scale. Table: HR holding register, IR input register, CO coil, DI discrete input. Function codes in hex.
Swipe the table sideways — the first column (manual address) stays put.

Notes
- Set DRV-06 = 3 (Int 485) and DRV-07 = 6 (Int 485) to command over RS-485 (p.335).
- Values changed over comm revert at power-off unless saved via CNF-48 = 1 or by writing 0 then 1 to 0h03E0 (p.337). Frequency written to 0h0380/0h0005 is not retained even after save (p.364).
- 0h0000-0h0011 are shared with other LS drives; 0h0012-0h001B are H100-specific (p.350). 0h0004 is reserved.
Read it with PortDock
- Install the free PortDock Modbus Master and connect with the device's settings.
- On the table toolbar, «Device profile…» → pick this device → «Load». Polling tables, names, types and the Slave ID are filled in (optionally the serial settings too).
- Names carry the unit and scale (e.g. «×0.01 Hz»). Values on screen are raw — multiply by the scale.
- To test your program without the device, PortDock Modbus Slave's «Emulate device…» serves the same map with example values.
