An unofficial summary of facts (addresses, types, units, scaling) from the maker's manual. Not affiliated with the maker; values can differ by firmware or model. Always check the device manual before writing (run commands, settings).
Default communication
| Protocol | Modbus RTU |
|---|---|
| Baud (factory) | 9600 bps — options: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 |
| Data · parity · stop | 8 · None · 1 |
| Slave ID (factory) | 1 (1~250) |
| Manual address style | 1-based numbers (wire address + 1) |
- Addressing: the manual's Modbus-RTU example (p.191, PDF 203) sends starting address 0x1102 for comm address 0x1103 ('Starting Address -1'), so address = manual address - 1. The example is from the parameter area only; under this rule 0x0000 (model) maps to -1 and is omitted. Verify on hardware for the common area.
- Defaults: CM.01 ID 1 (1-250), CM.02 0 Modbus-RTU (1 LS INV 485), CM.03 3 = 9600 bps (0-5 = 1200-38400), CM.04 0 = D8/PN/S1; CM.04 offers 8N1/8N2/8E1/8O1. p.179-180 (PDF 191-192).
- The CM.03 text says 'up to 115,200 bps', but the setting table and spec table (p.177) list only 1,200-38,400 bps, so only those are listed.
- Function codes 03, 04, 06, 16; exception codes 01/02/03/06 (p.189-190, PDF 201-202). Up to 16 drives, RJ45 pin 1 S+ / pin 8 S- (p.177-179).
Registers (23)
«Wire» is the 0-based address in the request frame (PortDock's «0-based» notation). Value = raw × scale. Table: HR holding register, IR input register, CO coil, DI discrete input. Function codes in hex.
Swipe the table sideways — the first column (manual address) stays put.

Notes
- RS-485 is available only on models with advanced I/O (p.177).
- Set drv = 3 (Int 485) and Frq = 9 (Int 485) to command over RS-485 (p.181, PDF 193).
- Values changed via the common area are not saved and revert on reset/power cycle; changes via group parameters are retained (p.194 note 1).
- 0x001A unit display, 0x001B poles, 0x001C custom version are 'Not Used'; 0x0100-0x010F are read/write windows for addresses registered in CM.31-38 and CM.51-58 (p.194).
Read it with PortDock
- Install the free PortDock Modbus Master and connect with the device's settings.
- On the table toolbar, «Device profile…» → pick this device → «Load». Polling tables, names, types and the Slave ID are filled in (optionally the serial settings too).
- Names carry the unit and scale (e.g. «×0.01 Hz»). Values on screen are raw — multiply by the scale.
- To test your program without the device, PortDock Modbus Slave's «Emulate device…» serves the same map with example values.
