An unofficial summary of facts (addresses, types, units, scaling) from the maker's manual. Not affiliated with the maker; values can differ by firmware or model. Always check the device manual before writing (run commands, settings).
Default communication
| Protocol | Modbus RTU |
|---|---|
| Baud (factory) | 9600 bps — options: 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200 |
| Data · parity · stop | 8 · None · 1 |
| Slave ID (factory) | 1 (1~247) |
| 32-bit order | ABCD |
| Max per request | 4 registers |
| Manual address style | 1-based numbers (wire address + 1) |
- Addressing: coil and register numbers in the manual are 1-based, and each example notes «the start number is reduced by 1» (pp.4-168 to 4-173). Examples: read coils (p.4-168) 08 01 00 06 00 06 5C 90 → coils from 0007h (multi-function input 1); write coil (p.4-170) 0A 05 00 00 FF 00 8D 41 → coil 0001h (RUN command); read registers (p.4-169) 05 03 00 11 00 02 95 8A → 0012h (trip factor) and 0013h; FC06 (p.4-171) 05 06 12 02 00 32 AD 23 → 50 to 1203h (A003); FC10 (p.4-173) 01 10 11 02 00 02 04 00 04 93 E0 9E 9F → 300000 to 1103h/1104h (F002). CRCs of these frames and of the coil read response (08 01 01 17 12 1A), write coils (05 0F 00 06 00 06 02 17 00 DB 3E, response ... 34 4C) and FC10 response (01 10 11 02 00 02 E5 34) match calculation. The register read response (05 03 04 00 07 00 02) CRC is printed 36 37 but computes to 8F F3; this does not affect addressing.
- Function codes 01h, 03h, 05h, 06h, 08h, 0Fh and 10h. 03h/10h handle up to 4 registers (8 bytes) per message, 01h/0Fh up to 32 coils (p.4-165). No 02h/04h; read-only status is read as coils (01h).
- Defaults: C071 05 = 9600 bps, C072 station 1, C073 8 bits, C074 00 = no parity, C075 1 = 1 stop bit, C079 01 = ModBus-RTU (p.3-46). Modbus-RTU uses 8 data bits only, up to 32 units per line (p.4-145).
- 32-bit values have the (HIGH) number first and the (LOW) number next, i.e. high word first (ABCD). The FC10 example (p.4-173) also writes 0004h to 1103h and 93E0h to 1104h.
Registers (48)
«Wire» is the 0-based address in the request frame (PortDock's «0-based» notation). Value = raw × scale. Table: HR holding register, IR input register, CO coil, DI discrete input. Function codes in hex.
Swipe the table sideways — the first column (manual address) stays put.

Notes
- Page numbers are printed pages. In chapter 4, PDF page = xxx of 4-xxx + 119 (e.g. p.4-180 = PDF 299); p.3-46 = PDF 105.
- To run and set frequency by communication set A002 = 03 and A001 = 03 (pp.4-170, 4-180).
- Code 2 in the trip factor list (p.4-183) reads «Overvoltage protection during deceleration», but E02 in the same manual's troubleshooting table (p.5-1) is overcurrent during deceleration, so code 2 is left out of values.
- Coil 0013h (RUN) is not included: the name says «during RUN» but the description reads «1: During trip, 0: Normal» (p.4-176). Coil 0050h is listed twice, for WCO and WCOI (p.4-179), so both are left out.
- EEPROM write mode 0902h is not included: the text (p.4-174) says to write 1 to 0902h, but the register list (p.4-182) marks 0901h-1000h as «Not used».
- Input power (d014, 1012h) has no number in the resolution column and integrated power (d015, 1013h) shows «0.1 [h]», a mismatched unit, so both are left out. The rotation direction monitor (d003, 1004h) lists only FWD/STOP/REV text without numeric codes, so it is left out (p.4-184).
- Values written by communication are in RAM only. To keep them write 1 to 0900h (Enter command, p.4-174).
Read it with PortDock
- Install the free PortDock Modbus Master and connect with the device's settings.
- On the table toolbar, «Device profile…» → pick this device → «Load». Polling tables, names, types and the Slave ID are filled in (optionally the serial settings too).
- Names carry the unit and scale (e.g. «×0.01 Hz»). Values on screen are raw — multiply by the scale.
- To test your program without the device, PortDock Modbus Slave's «Emulate device…» serves the same map with example values.
