PortDock

PortDock Net Scan

Sweep a network card's subnet to find devices, and identify them by MAC vendor and open industrial ports (Modbus 502, MC, XGT, S7, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA …). Devices that block ping are still found via ARP on the same subnet.

Made for

  • Field engineers who don't know a new device's IP
  • Anyone who must watch a device network overnight

Features

Ping + ARP sweep

ARP on the same subnet finds devices that block ping; shows response time, name, this PC and gateway. No admin rights needed.

Industrial port check

Checks only a port list (default 502, 2004, 5000–5010, 102, 44818, 4840 …; editable, up to 32) — no general port scan — and asks Modbus devices for vendor/model (FC 2B/0E).

MAC vendor

Embedded IEEE list shows the vendor without internet access.

Long-term ping monitor

Logs loss, latency and outages of several devices to CSV and flashes the taskbar on a drop.

New / missing

Compares with the previous scan to mark new and missing devices. Export to CSV.

Wake-on-LAN, open web

Per device: open its web page, copy IP/MAC, send a magic packet.

Quick start

  1. Pick a network adapter — its subnet becomes the range (the /24 it is in, if wider)
  2. «Scan» (F4)
  3. Check the services and vendor columns; click a device to open its web page, copy its IP, wake it or «Add to ping monitor»
