An unofficial summary of facts (addresses, types, units, scaling) from the maker's manual. Not affiliated with the maker; values can differ by firmware or model. Always check the device manual before writing (run commands, settings).
Default communication
| Protocol | Modbus RTU |
|---|---|
| Baud (factory) | 9600 bps — options: 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 |
| Data · parity · stop | 8 · None · 2 |
| Slave ID (factory) | 1 (1~99) |
| Manual address style | Wire address as is (0-based) |
- Defaults from comm manual p.37 (ADRS 01, BPS 2=9600, parity NONE, stop 2, response wait 20 ms). 8 data bits fixed, speed list and max 31 units from user manual MCT-TKU1-V3.6-EN p.27.
- Manual writes «400001(0000)»: 1-based reference number plus hex comm address in parentheses; first entries are (0000), so the parenthesized value is used as the 0-based wire address (pp.23-41). The frame examples (pp.12-20) show only field layout, no numeric example.
Registers (39)
«Wire» is the 0-based address in the request frame (PortDock's «0-based» notation). Value = raw × scale. Table: HR holding register, IR input register, CO coil, DI discrete input. Function codes in hex.

Notes
- RS485 only on option models: sizes S/M/W/H/L option T or B; size N option T (user manual pp.18-19). TK4SP ordering table has no RS485 option.
- Discrete inputs 100001(0000)-100014(000D) list the same items in the same order as bits 0-13 of input reg 301007 (p.24); only the register is included.
- Exception codes 01/02/03/04/06 (p.21). Writes are refused when locked or COMW=DIS.A.
- Manual recommends FC06 over FC16 for PLC/HMI (p.20).
Read it with PortDock
- Install the free PortDock Modbus Master and connect with the device's settings.
- On the table toolbar, «Device profile…» → pick this device → «Load». Polling tables, names, types and the Slave ID are filled in (optionally the serial settings too).
- Names carry the unit and scale (e.g. «×0.01 Hz»). Values on screen are raw — multiply by the scale.
- To test your program without the device, PortDock Modbus Slave's «Emulate device…» serves the same map with example values.
