An unofficial summary of facts (addresses, types, units, scaling) from the maker's manual. Not affiliated with the maker; values can differ by firmware or model. Always check the device manual before writing (run commands, settings).

| Manual address style | 40001/30001 style (wire address + 1, first digit = table) |
- The manual writes «00001 (0000)»: PLC number plus hex wire address in brackets; wire address = bracket value. Evidence: FC01 example on printed p.38 (PDF p.37) «01 01 00 00 00 03 7C 0B» reads L-OUT/GO-OUT/H-OUT (00001-00003) from 0x0000; reply «01 01 01 05 91 8B» (05 = L-OUT ON, GO-OUT OFF, H-OUT ON). FC02 example on the same page «01 02 00 00 00 01 B9 CA» → «01 02 01 01 60 48» = HOLD (10001 (0000)) ON. The CRCs of these and of the exception example on printed p.40 (PDF p.39) («01 03 00 95 00 07 14 24» → «01 83 02 C0 F1») were recomputed and all match.
- Modbus RTU, RS485 2-wire half duplex, up to 31 units, station 1-127, 2400-38400 bps, response wait 5-99 ms, stop bit fixed 1 (printed pp.8, 15, 45). The factory-default table (printed p.17) is drawn in LCD glyphs, so default station/baud/parity are not given. Data bits are not stated.
- Supported FCs 01h-04h, 06h, 10h (printed p.37). Data count shown as FC03 'n = 1-16', FC04 'n = 1-22', FC16 'n = 1-20' (printed p.39).
Registers (39)
«Wire» is the 0-based address in the request frame (PortDock's «0-based» notation). Value = raw × scale. Table: HR holding register, IR input register, CO coil, DI discrete input. Function codes in hex.
Swipe the table sideways — the first column (manual address) stays put.

Notes
- RS485 only on models ending in C: LP3-5A5NC, LP3-5A5PC (5-stage output + RS485), LP6-5ANC (indicator + RS485) (ordering info, printed p.6 (PDF p.5)).
- PV/MAX/MIN (31003-31008), set values LSV/HSV/LLSV/HHSV/DSV (31009-31018, 40001-40010), prescale mantissas P-AX/P-BX (40055-40056, 40058-40059) and auto-zero times AZ-A/AZ-B (40102-40105) are only described as 'double word, multi-register transfer'; the word order and scaling are not stated, so they are omitted.
- Start-up compensation time S-TMR (40107 (006A), 0.0-99.9 s) is omitted because its raw scaling is not stated. Product number (30101-30102) and the BANK #1/#2 blocks (40161-40180, 40201-40220, LP3 only) are also omitted — see printed pp.46-47.
- Exception codes 1 = unsupported function, 2 = start address mismatch, 3 = quantity mismatch, 4 = processing failure (printed p.40). Writes are blocked while CWP is ON.
- Page numbers: in this PDF, printed page = PDF page + 1.
Read it with PortDock
- Install the free PortDock Modbus Master and connect with the device's settings.
- On the table toolbar, «Device profile…» → pick this device → «Load». Polling tables, names, types and the Slave ID are filled in (optionally the serial settings too).
- Names carry the unit and scale (e.g. «×0.01 Hz»). Values on screen are raw — multiply by the scale.
- To test your program without the device, PortDock Modbus Slave's «Emulate device…» serves the same map with example values.
